Karate Girl Trailer
So, the not really anticipated Karate Girl now has a trailer. At least it’s not called Kick Girl, which is what I thought KG stood for. Anyways, I’m still hoping for something good out of this movie, but I have a feeling that’s all for nothing.
The new trailer shows a little more story, but there isn’t much depth to it. It has something to do with Rina’s father and having her fight her sister at the end. In other words, there are two girls that are trying to fight here.
Now, I know that story isn’t really a strong point in action movies, so I can let it slide. However, the fights still look like they lack power and speed. Some hits don’t even look like they make contact. I mean, look at the last shot they try to sell the movie with.
The real thing I’m worried about is the overuse of slow motion the last movie had. Just cut that out and you’ll already have a better movie on your hands.
High Kick Girl is scheduled to release on Feburary 5th.
