Chinese Odyssey Coming out Next Year
It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about Stephen Chow and his most recent project. Chinese Odyssey will cover the tale of the Monkey King as he travels West to obtain sutras.
Details are scarce at the moment, but Chow has said that filming has completed and that the movie is now in post-production. The film will be very heavily enhanced through CG, which has started to become a trademark for Chow. Chow will be serving as the producer, co-director, editor, and actor for the film. While I think there are a few too many Monkey King movies that are coming out, I’m glad to see that Chow is still in the market, as I haven’t seen him since CJ7.
