New Images for Black and White (Updated!)
I know I’ve got a bias toward movies that are set in present day right now, but that’s because they are so few and far between. One movie that has caught my eye is Black and White Episode 1: Dawn of Assault. It’s based off of a popular Taiwanese TV drama, and it sounds like it’s done well enough to earn a film version of the show.
Anyways, I’ve found a number of posters for the movie, so check them out below.
Not bad, right? I’m really excited to see how the movie does. I still get a New Police Story vibe from the film, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. For those that haven’t seen yet, here is a trailer of Black and White:
Now, I don’t know too much about the show but I’m guessing Taiwanese shows follow the same pattern as Japanese shows. In other words, I’m gonna draw a parallel to the Bayside Shakedown show in Japan. Not the comedy aspect, but the fact that both were popular police dramas that became successful movies as well.
Am I off on this assumption? Does anyone know if the show is worth a watch? Let me know.
