New Info on Special Identity
A few days ago, I reported on the Special Identity shutting down production, but that may not necessarily be the case. The fate of the film itself, however, can be different based off of what story you decide to believe. Right now, there are 2 different stories floating around on the internet.
The first is an article by Twitch. Twitch states that negotiations have not been successful and that Zhao will be replaced by Andy On if this continues. On is a very talented actor and fighter, and I don’t see why he wouldn’t be able to jump in if needed. It would be sad if things come to this, but at least we can rest assured that filming will continue.
The second perspective on this story is what Zhao’s reps are saying. HKTopten reports that Zhao’s camp is stating that Zhao has not left the set and that everything is pure speculation. They even go as far as to say that Zhao was portrayed in a negative light and expects the media to apologize. Either way, something seems off to me about this whole ordeal.
What do you guys think? Do you think that On will replace Zhao, or that Zhao is telling the truth and that he is still working on the film. If anything, this little fiasco has made more people take notice of the film, though not necessarily for the better. Regardless of what happens, I hope this issue gets resolved soon and that filming can proceed without any other speed bumps.
