Man of Tai Chi Begins Filming
Keanu Reeves attended a small event in Beijing to celebrate the filming of Man of Tai Chi, his debut film as a director. For those that don’t know, there are several big names attached to the project. Tiger Chen will be starring in the film with Reeves as the main villain. The action will be choreographed by none other than Yuen Woo-Ping and Karen Mok has also been confirmed as one of the female stars in the film.
The event was held on Feb 28th, and several of the cast members were present to celebrate the occasion. Filming is scheduled to continue on until June, and a release date has not yet been confirmed.
While I was skeptical at first, it really looks like Reeves knows what he’s doing and I’m excited to see what he can get out of the talent that he has banded together. This one may take a lot of us by surprise, but I’m not sure whether that will be good or bad yet.
