All right, since Phil called me out on the Raid (just kidding man) I figured I’ll pull out all of the stops and get everybody really hyped for tomorrow’s release of the Raid. For those of you that have to wait for a later release date, myself included, I’m sorry as this will probably make the wait that much harder.
Let’s start off with the 5th (and I believe final) BTS video for the Raid. While not on Gareth’s blog, the video has been released on Youtube. This part of the series talks a little more about one of the main fights and styles used while discussing how the choreography caters to each fighter:
Excited yet? Well, there’s still tons of stuff to cover, so let’s keep going. A fanmade game has been released that allows you to recreate the hallway fight from the film. I don’t know how many of you are good a browser-based games, but apparently I suck. I couldn’t beat the game, and eventually gave up after dozens of tries. Regardless of my lack of skill, it’s still pretty fun and worth a try.
You can try the game out for yourself here. Good luck!
Most of you are also aware of the fact that Mike Shinoda worked on the soundtrack for the US version of the film, and he’s spreading the word as well. It’s the first film he’s done the score to, and hes doing his best to get fans excited. You can purchase the soundtrack digitally or get the physical album. Either way, your purchase nets you a free download for RAZOR’S.OUT as well.
You can go online and order the soundtrack here:
Lastly, I figured I’d go ahead and re-post all of the fights that have been released on the Raid over the past few months. Now, these are pulled straight from the film, so avoid them if you don’t want to ruin it. If you want my humble opinion, there are way too many fights to worry that these little clips are going to spoil anything.
Hallway Fight (The finisher is missing for this one, dunno why)
What’s that? You still want more!? Well, here’s the trailer for all of you to get the full effect for the Raid:
Okay boys and girls, that it! The Raid comes out tomorrow for a lucky few with more theaters being added to the list every week! Be sure to give it a view and help make this film a success!
(You’re welcome, Phil)
