The Man with the Iron Fists Wraps Up

On May 22nd, the RZA tweeted that the Man with the Iron Fist was finally locked. For those of you that aren’t aware, this is a project that RZA has worked on in every aspect, including the writing and directing.

There are several supporting cast members, with some of them being Russell Crowe, Lucy Liu, Daniel Wu, Leung kar-yen, Cung Le, Gordon Liu, and Celina Jade.

I’m been pretty open about the fact that I’m not a fan of the RZA, but that doesn’t mean he can’t prove me wrong. I’m afraid that this movie will end up just being a fanfilm and not have any substance, but I will be more than happy to correct myself if he shows me something different.

Since filming has finally wrapped, maybe we’ll be able to see a trailer in the coming months to get a feel for the film and see what it’s really about.

    LOL…you love reminding us users that you are not a fan of RZA whenever you write an article about RZA.

    me personally I don’t think this movie might be good. I mean RZA seems like a fan of martial arts, if he’s devoted to it then the movie can be good.
    Because to me it feels like a Forbidden Kingdom type of movie, with good stars and martial artist, while the protagonist is some white dude that doesn’t know sh*:/

    i hope Man with the Iron Fist isn’t like this:/

    Haha, at least I’m honest, right? My friends would call me out if I just sounded like I was a fan and I don’t think I could do that in good conscience either.

    I think a lot of people are waiting to see what this movie looks like in motion. It has potential, but big names aren’t enough to make a good film.

    I’ll be keeping a close eye on this one, and I hope he proves me wrong.
