Gareth Evan’s Big Movie Deal and Kung Fu Superstar The Game

by kmiller

Gareth Evans is quickly becoming a big deal, and he’s getting the offers to prove it. It has been reported that Evans will be paid seven figures to write and direct an English drama. Of course there are very few details on the plot itself, but it appears there already 2 “”strong male roles.” Of course, this won’t even start til after he films Berandal and a bank-heist film called Breaking the Bank.

Given that this is going to be a drama, it probably won’t be covered here in too much detail, but I’m still excited that Evans is getting this attention. Hopefully he is able to showcase his talents and push every genre in new and interesting ways.

Next up is something a little more fun, given that E3 kicked off today. I found this trailer for a game called Kung Fu Superstar, and it looks like it could be fun. Now, trailers are meant to make games look exciting, and I’m not sure how “family friendly” this game will be. In other words, if my grandparents can play it, I probably won’t enjoy it.

It’s kind of unique that you play an actual actor that is on the set of different films. This gives the game some space as to where it can go, but not everyone may enjoy the premise. Anyways, I thought this game has potential if it is done right, but we’ll see.

good news for Gareth, as long as they don’t make him direct a crap movie.
Just like they did to the director of Wolverine Origin:/ he took the bait.

the Super star…another kinect trash game.

A complany is meant to be making an Ong Bak game, they haven’t show it yet at E3:/
