Special ID Poster

Apparently, it’s going to be a Special ID kind of week, and I’m totally fine with that. Earlier this week I posted an exciting interview with John Salvitti, who worked on the film, and now we have a brand new trailer to drool over. Seriously, this is amazing stuff.

Special ID Trailer

Can it be October yet? I really think this could be one of Donnie’s best films, and that’s something I really hope for. I know that it’s dangerous to set the bar too high, but how could you not after seeing such amazing action? The fights are fast and fierce, and we’ve only seen a portion of the fights.

What do you guys think? Are you excited?

UPDATE!!!

So, there’s another new trailer for this film. Seriously, wow. Special (ID?) thanks goes to David Vo for the link!

Will be released here in the US? If so, when???

I’m not expecting a big box office release like they do US movies but I would assume at the very least they would release it at a smaller theater that host international films here in New York. I can’t wait till Bluray or DVD..This movie is my top movie to see…Hollywood, take notice….This is how a real action movie should be done not CGI!

I can’t say with 100% certainty, but I believe that Well Go USA is getting the rights to the film. It wouldn’t surprise me since they brought Flash Point to the states. If so, you can expect a limited theatrical release. My face would probably melt if I saw this in a theater. It’s amazing how much care Donnie and John put into the choreography and making it feel real. Truly an impressive trailer for a (surely) fantastic film.

Thanks for the quick response kmiller!!… If this is the case, and a limited theatrical would be a reality, I would assume the US release of this film would be a few weeks after the China release or would it be shown on the same date as the China release? The trailer I’ve seen so far are just amazing…again, can’t wait. I haven’t felt like this towards a movie in a loooong time.

No problem, I just happened to be good at replying this time, haha. The release depends on a lot of things, but Well Go USA is really good about bringing films over quick (and subbed so it’s faster.) I think a lot of people are looking forward to this film, and I have a feeling Donnie will still exceed our expectations 😉
