This week’s fight features the Martial Club and is brought to you by Flow. It’s a great throwback to old-school choreography that’s fresh and fun to watch.
Vladislav Rimburg is a very busy man. He’s always creating new shorts that always seem to raise the bar. Well, I’d say that he’s done it again with his most recent fight: Part 2 Chapter A. If you don’t believe me, give it a look:
Obviously there will be a second half, but the concept is set up very nicely and makes you really want to see how it all comes together. There are so many names linked to this short, including Caitlin Dechelle, Gui DaSilva, Alex Huynh, Jimmy Chhiu, Marc Canonizado, Andy Le, Michael Lehr, Brian Le, George Crayton, and Mickey Facchinello.
Everyone did an awesome job, and I can’t wait to see how everything comes together!
By now, you guys have seen Vlad’s work in a number of videos (like Wild, Yo Soy Un Hombre Loco, and Part 1 Chapter C, to name a few.) Well, be prepared to see his next short: Men in Suits.
I’ll be honest, this video is nothing short of amazing. The fights are creative and well done. I love the editing and the style, and the music fits perfectly. I always think that Vlad can’t top himself, and he always proves me wrong.
Of course, he couldn’t have done it without the help of everyone involved. This includes Mickey Facchinello, Aaron Toney, Amy Johnston, Xin Wuku, Yoshua Yoshi Sudarso, Brian Le, Andy Le, Robert Dill, Malay Kim, Johnny Yang, and Alvin Hsing. Awesome job to everybody!
Also, it was 36 degrees when I filmed, so sorry for the shaky cam and reddening of my face. That being said, I just really wanted to wear that Karate Kid shirt cause it’s awesome!
Most of you know Brendon Huor as Rock Lee from the “Dreamer’s Fight” short, but there is much more to him than that. In this short, he fights the equally talented Andy Le in a very classic-style fight sequence. I’ll just shut it for now though, so you can see what happens between the two.
It goes without saying that the fight is pretty impressive. Behind the lens, you have the talented Emmanuel Manzanares, who handled both the choreography as well as the camerawork. I love the old-school feel this fight has, and how cold-hearted they make Brendon out to be. I think the dynamic works really well helps with the flow of the fight.
Awesome job to everyone involved!
Also, today is Brendon’s birthday, so be sure to wish him a happy birthday!
