New Images for Angels
Remember that movie that Dustin Nguyen was working on? No, not Once Upon a Time in Vietnam. It’s called Angels, and it kinda fell into the background recently. Thankfully, some new images have been released to show us that Dustin Nguyen is still a very bad man and that you shouldn’t mess with him.
I’m guessing that most of you don’t remember the trailer or story to this film, so I’m going to go ahead and embed it in here once again. Give it a look and see what I’m talking about.
I’d like to say that Dustin Nguyen is crazy busy (which I’m sure he is) but I haven’t heard about this film since June of last year. I’m not sure what took so long to get the movie released. Maybe they are waiting to ride on the coattails of Once Upon a Time in Vietnam.
Regardless of what the reason is, I’m really excited to see this movie and what it has to offer. It looks like a very dark variation of Taken, and I’m totally cool with that. Hopefully we’ll see a release date soon, and I’m optimistic because of the fact that the trailer is mostly in English. Let’s just hope it gets the attention it deserves.

Trailers for Angels and Once Upon a Time in Shanghai
Okay, it looks like I made a mistake. The Once Upon a Time in Shanghai that stars Phillip Ng and Sammo Hung and is being produced by Wong Jing is not the same one as the one that stars Chow Yun Fat and Sammo Hung which is directed by Wong Jing. Get that? Yeah, me neither. However, there is a teaser trailer for Phillip Ng’s Once Upon a Time in Shanghai.
While this doesn’t really show any footage, I like the old-school feel it gives off. It lets you know what Yuen Woo Ping will be choreographing the action while letting Ng’s action’s speak for themselves. I’m excited to see where this project goes.
Next up is a trailer for a movie called Angels. It stars Dustin Nguyen and I gotta say, the trailer looks pretty slick.
I know Dustin from being in the Rebel, and I thought he was an awesome villain. However, I didn’t realize how English-heavy this film was going to be. It will be directed by Wych Kaosayananda and has a number of action veterans listed, including Gary Daniels.
No release has been announced yet, but Angels should be coming out later this year.
