This week I want to show you guys Eleven by Thousand Pounds. It’s been a while since we’ve heard from the guys, but great effects like this take time to perfect.
This just makes me that much more excited for Clandestine when it comes out. The guys clearly know what they are doing and I can’t wait to see more. Be sure to subscribe to their channel for the most up-to-date news!
The Kickstarter for Clandestine is coming to an end, and they are still pretty shy of their goal. I wanted to take some time to catch you guys up on some of the things that have been announced for the project.
I’m hoping you’re aware of Clandtesine, but if you aren’t, it’s basically a very ambitious web series that is being created by Thousand Pounds. It’s got a very promising story and a strong cast, with some new additions that have been announced. The cast includes Amy Johnston, Brendon Huor, Reuben Langdon, Gui DaSilva, Mickey Facchinello, Vonzell Carter, and Mark Musashi.
Here is a video introducing some of the cast:
There are a number of clans that will be present in Clandestine, and a teaser for the Eagle clan has just been released. Give it a look to see the potential of the Eagle Clan:
I’m really excited for Clandestine, and I really hope this project sees the light of day. I can’t post every update, but be sure to look at their Facebook page or Youtube page for even more videos, like Q & A sessions with the cast. You can also visit their official website here.
If you haven’t donated yet, there is still time. Be sure to support these guys as they strive to become one of the best martial arts teams in the industry!
A lot of cool news for the week, I have no idea why this video is so short. Feel free to let me know how you feel about any of the news I cover, like Iko joining Man of Tai Chi.

Clandestine: Your Questions Answered
Chinese Zodiac Coming to Comic Con, and a BTS Video!
While I won’t be able to update this page every time Clandestine has something new (it happens pretty frequently) this video was just too good to miss. Haile and Chris took some time to sit down and answer some questions that they have received.
Clandestine: Chris and Haile Answer Your Questions (Part 1)
I think it’s very cool that these guys have take the time to answer what people want to know. If you want to make sure your money is being put to good use, now is the time to ask them what you want to know. I think the project is awesome, and I can’t really think of anything I’m worried about.
Do you have any burning questions? Ask them on Facebook or Twitter and you might get a response!
You’ve heard of Thousand Pounds Action Company and seen what they are capable of. Whether it was through Naruto or Street Fighter X Tekken, it’s apparent that there is a lot of talent on the team. It’s only natural that when people of this caliber work together, new projects are born.
Enter Clandestine:
“When was the last time you saw a martial arts film that left you panting? We’re talking about gritty, blood and sweat, bone crunching epics where you feel the pain, wince at every blow, root for characters in every fight. We’re talking about fight films where the storyline does as much as the action in keeping you on the edge of your seat.”
“”With your help, we’ll deliver the next one. We’ll make filmmaking history. We’ll bring back the martial arts epic with Clandestine.”
Clandestine is a webseries that will utilize some of the biggest talents in the industry right now. Amy Johnston and Brendon Huor will be playing key characters while Vladislav Rimburg will be working on the choreography. Just the announcement of these three individuals is enough to get most action fans excited. Chris Cowan and Haile Lee are the ones that are seeing the project through, and they are equally as talented behind the lens.

Given how ambitious Clandestine is, the team isn’t able to do it alone. They have created a kickstarter campaign in order to raise $75,000. While this may seem like a large sum, if every one of their viewers donated a dollar, the goal could be met in a matter of days. One of the greatest benefits to supporting upcoming talent is the fact that they have the same passion that the fans do. As a martial arts fan myself, I can tell you that your money will be put to good use.
There are a number of perks for those that donate, and any amount will be greatly appreciated. You should also check out the official page, as there is a great synopsis of the story and it will be updated with new details and images as the weeks go on. If you love great action sequences or have been a fan of Thousand Pounds, now is the time to show your support and help the team see this vision through!
A lot of news for the week. Hopefully you guys were able to read it all. Let me know what you think of my trailer analysis and I’ll keep you posted on what’s coming for the site!

LBP Stunts has done it again! They have just released a practice fight that was inspired by the Raid. Check it out for yourself before I ramble on too much.
If this was a test, consider it a success cause I wanna see more! What truly amazes me is how tight some of the shots are, yet they are still very clear. Brendon and Shawn did an awesome job with the choreo while Manny handled the camera masterfully.
I’m really excited to see what doors this opens up for LBP Stunts. These guys keep raising the bar and I truly believe they are on the verge of something big. If you still don’t believe me, take another look at their team action reel:
Props to everyone at LBP Stunts, I can’t wait to see what’s next!
Next up is the Indie crowd. There have been a lot of project, and I wanted to spotlight them so you could see everybody’s hard work.
First up is Relic Hunt, a film starring Edward Kahana, Alvin Hsing, Bryan Cartago, and Lucas Okuma. Here is the synopsis for the film:
Treasure hunter Trey Arcqeo is tasked by the Oxford Museum to recover the ancient Plates of Siddhartha and finds himself in the remote hills of an abandoned mining community. However, he is not alone.
What’s that? A trailer? Of course there’s a trailer!
Relic Hunt already looks awesome and I’ve only seen 57 seconds of it. Everybody that is working on the film is super talented, and I know the end product will meet (if not exceed) our expectations.
Keep tabs on Relic Hunt by liking it on Facebook here
Next on the list is a short film called Impulse. It was choreographed and directed by Tolga Degirmen and Hannes Pastor. There isn’t really much for me to say except that it’s a pretty good video and a lot of talented people worked on it.
Check it out for yourself:
Lastly, we have some awesome goodness from LBP Stunts. I posted these on the facebook page yesterday, but in case you guys missed it, I’ll post it here for you as well.
I’ll start with Manny’s stunt reel:
Following this is the action reel for the entire LBP Team, and man, is it awesome!
I just want to say awesome job to everyone that is working hard to create quality fight sequences for us to enjoy. We appreciate it and cant’ wait to see what’s next! Awesome job guys!
