Finishing Blow 57

A lot of cool news for the week, I have no idea why this video is so short. Feel free to let me know how you feel about any of the news I cover, like Iko joining Man of Tai Chi.

Clandestine: Your Questions Answered

by kmiller

While I won’t be able to update this page every time Clandestine has something new (it happens pretty frequently) this video was just too good to miss. Haile and Chris took some time to sit down and answer some questions that they have received.

Clandestine: Chris and Haile Answer Your Questions (Part 1)

I think it’s very cool that these guys have take the time to answer what people want to know. If you want to make sure your money is being put to good use, now is the time to ask them what you want to know. I think the project is awesome, and I can’t really think of anything I’m worried about.

Details on Clandestine: Follow the Path

by kmiller

You’ve heard of Thousand Pounds Action Company and seen what they are capable of. Whether it was through Naruto or Street Fighter X Tekken, it’s apparent that there is a lot of talent on the team. It’s only natural that when people of this caliber work together, new projects are born.

Enter Clandestine:

“When was the last time you saw a martial arts film that left you panting? We’re talking about gritty, blood and sweat, bone crunching epics where you feel the pain, wince at every blow, root for characters in every fight. We’re talking about fight films where the storyline does as much as the action in keeping you on the edge of your seat.”

“”With your help, we’ll deliver the next one. We’ll make filmmaking history. We’ll bring back the martial arts epic with Clandestine.”

Clandestine is a webseries that will utilize some of the biggest talents in the industry right now. Amy Johnston and Brendon Huor will be playing key characters while Vladislav Rimburg will be working on the choreography. Just the announcement of these three individuals is enough to get most action fans excited. Chris Cowan and Haile Lee are the ones that are seeing the project through, and they are equally as talented behind the lens.

Given how ambitious Clandestine is, the team isn’t able to do it alone. They have created a kickstarter campaign in order to raise $75,000. While this may seem like a large sum, if every one of their viewers donated a dollar, the goal could be met in a matter of days. One of the greatest benefits to supporting upcoming talent is the fact that they have the same passion that the fans do. As a martial arts fan myself, I can tell you that your money will be put to good use.

There are a number of perks for those that donate, and any amount will be greatly appreciated. You should also check out the official page, as there is a great synopsis of the story and it will be updated with new details and images as the weeks go on. If you love great action sequences or have been a fan of Thousand Pounds, now is the time to show your support and help the team see this vision through!
