New Posters for Man with the Iron Fists

by kmiller

There are a “few’ promotional posters for RZA’s film going around. A lot of them cater to the “classic” kung-fu feel that movie posters used to have. Check them out for yourself.

I’m still on the fence about this film, but I appreciate the dedication that RZA has as well. I’m hoping we get a more fleshed out trailer here soon, but this is a step in the right direction.

Bonus Post: Man with Iron Fists 2nd Trailer

by kmiller

A lot of people are split about Man with the Iron Fists. I’ve heard some people genuinely excited for the film, while others can’t seem to get behind the project at all. The RZA has a lot to prove, and he’s got the cast to show he knows who has the talent for martial arts. He just needs to prove he has what it takes to be a skilled director.

To be honest, this trailer probably won’t change your mind either way, as not much is different from the initial trailer that was released. Regardless, it is red band, so there is a little more violence for you to enjoy.

Man with the Iron Fists Trailer 2

I’m still not that crazy about this movie, and I’m hoping some new footage would change my mind. This trailer basically is the old trailer with some name inserts and a little more gore. I really hope they have more to show than what’s in the trailer, otherwise it won’t live up to expectations.

Man with the Iron Fists Official Trailer and Poster

by kmiller

On Sunday, I posted a leaked trailer for Man with the Iron Fists. Since then, that trailer has been pulled, but a new (and better looking) one has come out. Check out the IGN trailer for Man with the Iron Fists.

Most of you will know what I think about this film. If not, just read my little insight from Sunday, and you’ll be all caught up. Anyways, here is a  nice poster for those of you what want something new. There’s a cute little tagline, by the way.

I need more footage to see how much I like this movie. The reception has been pretty positive, but I’m just not that into it. Yeah, everybody knows what I think of the RZA, but it’s just the concept and how it’s executed. Here’s to hoping there is more to Man with the Iron Fists than naked women and flashy effects.

Leaked Trailer for Man with the Iron Fists

by kmiller

I’ve been pretty curious to know how the Man with the Iron Fists was going to turn out. I thought it would either be well done or just a giant work of a fanboy, but it seems to have hit a middle ground.  I’ve come across a leaked trailer for the film. Not sure how long it will be up, but give it a look:

Honestly, I’m kinda impressed at how decent the trailer is. Now, I can’t see too much because of the quality, but there are some original concepts in there. That being said, I’m not excited for this film, really. The blood looks very stylize and what’s up with Batista? On another note, I feel like there are more scantily clothed women than fight scenes, and isn’t this supposed to be a martial arts film?

I think that I expected worse, so the overall result wasn’t that bad. What do you guys think? Are you happy with what you see, or is it more of a “eh” reaction?

(Aaaaand now it’s gone, haha)

The RZA and Russel Crowe Team Up?

by kmiller

I hate the RZA, I really REALLY do. He’s just one of those rappers who puts his name on anything martial arts, or just makes a song for it and calls it his (cough…Unleashed, Ong-Bak….cough.) Anyways, for some reason beyond my comprehension, he’s making a movie. (more…)
