Teaser Trailer and Images for the Expendables 2 (Updated!)

Before I get too far ahead of myself, I was going to save the info on the Expendables 2 for tomorrow. But, as fate would have it, things don’t work out as planned. See, IGN is having a special trailer premiere on Thursday, May 3rd. However, they posted a trailer for that trailer, and this is it:

How amazing was that? I couldn’t just let this slip by, so I’ll update this page when the official trailer comes out. For the time being, here are some new images from the film as well.

I’m sure that the trailer will be just as explosion-heavy as the teaser, but we’ll all be able to see it when it comes out tomorrow.

Images of Yu Nan in The Expendables 2

Yu Nan plays one of the newcomers for the Expendables sequel. Her character, Maggie, will join Barney Ross as they travel around the world for their next assignment. While most of the cast are heavyweights in the action genre, Yu got a role in the Speed Racer film and has also been recognized for her acting talent. She even graduated from the Beijing Film academy acting department in 1998.

I’ll be interested to see how she holds up with the rest of the crew, but it’s nice to know that there aren’t just a lot of old names tied to the film. That and the fact that she’s a lady doesn’t hurt either.
